Broken Lilies is a short film about a couple struggling with the ramifications of a momentous event in their lives. Each struggles to deal with their own emotions and those of their partner. The film, which was completed in June 2019, is the directorial debut of Chantalle Todd with a screenplay by first time writer Paige Zubel. Paige adapted the script from her play “In Full Bloom” that was part of the Capital Repertory Theatre’s NextAct! Program in Albany, NY. It is the first of what will hopefully be future film productions that start in CapReps’ talent development programs for the theater and end up on the screen. Broken Lilies is a co-production of Frosted Lens Entertainment, Poorductions and RPR Studios LLC.
CONGRATULATIONS TO BROKEN LILIES AND DIRECTOR, CHANTALLE TODD, FOR THEIR ACCEPTANCE INTO THE BEST SHORTS COMPETITION!!
